Materials for Manufacturing Wallets
Select the right leather to match your wallet style
Full grain leather
The highest quality leather. The leather used comes from the top layer of animal skins and these wallets are considered to be among the strongest and most durable leather wallets available. No excessive sanding or finishing is required, they don't look worn out, but rather develop a unique look over time.
Top grain leather
The second high quality leather, such wallets have a finish and a sandy feel and are usually used to make high end luxury wallets. The leather is thinner and better suited for use than full grain leather. The smoother sandy texture gives the wallet a more stylish look.
Suede
Suede is a surface treatment applied to leather, where the surface is "brushed" to produce a pile rather than the smooth surface normally used for leather. The faded look allows it to be worn with any outfit. You can also easily experiment with different styles and colors of wallets.
Nappa leather
Napa leather wallets use typically dyed leather, Napa leather wallets use this quality leather and therefore have a very sophisticated look. Even though it is soft leather, the wallets made out of it are the most durable and breathable.
Artificial leather
Many wallets in this category also belong to vegans. They are made of plastic, rubber and/or other synthetic materials. Such materials are usually easier to use and can create versatile styles and types. Maintenance is also relatively easy and convenient.
